Coriolanian Rage

I shall use this wrath
which eats my human heart
and feeds the beast inside me.

I shall distil anger
from my darkening soul
and mete it out as venom.

I shall come out double-sworded
with ire-forged sinew and bone,
and no shield but superior rage.

I shall strike with thunderous blows,
drive my uncaring bludgeon
with all-consuming frenzy.

And
you
will
yield.
